We’re not carers. We’re not a faceless agency.
We’re the kind of people you’d want checking in on your mum—or popping round to help you yourself.

We offer unhurried visits, real conversation, a helping hand, and most of all—connection.
Whether it's a walk, a chat over tea, a lift to an appointment, or just someone to fold laundry and talk about the weather, we believe it’s the small things that make the biggest difference.

We only hire people we’d trust with our own loved ones.
Every companion is:
First aid trained & DBS checked
Many hold additional qualifications in dementia care, safeguarding, and food safety But more than that? They’re emotionally intuitive.
They’re warm, grounded, reliable, and real.
They know how to sit in silence, how to share a laugh, how to offer support without patronising.
We treat our clients like friends—because that’s what they become.

We believe that support shouldn’t feel clinical, and that growing older or living with a disability shouldn’t mean losing your joy, your independence, or your dignity.
Our mission is to help people stay in their own routines, in their own homes, and in touch with the world around them.
To offer relief to overwhelmed family members.
To bring company and kindness back into the everyday.
And to remind people that a good day isn’t a luxury—it’s something we all deserve.

We may be a small team, but we operate with heart, structure, and soul.
We lead with warmth, show up with professionalism, and build trust with every visit.

Golden Days was created to fill a gap we saw far too often:
People who didn’t need full-time care—but absolutely needed someone.
Someone kind. Someone consistent. Someone who could bring lightness to the day without taking over.

So we built a service that does just that.

We’re a small, handpicked team based in Leicestershire, offering non-medical companionship and practical support to older adults, people with disabilities, and those simply navigating life transitions.
